Pink Nasty

Pink Nasty is primarily the work of Sara Beck, a Wichita-native indie rock musician now based out of Austin. Her style runs the gamut of trends found throughout the 2000s, including everything from quick, down-strummed Strokes-esque rock, to quirky indie pop and singer/songwriter material. Albums such as, Mold the Gold and a 2010 eponymous release, wrap all these styles up in a somewhat glossy package that would be perfectly fit for mass consumption. Beck studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and her chops have led her to opening slots supporting popular indie rock artists such as Jose Gonzalez and Britt Daniel of Spoon.
