New Cassettes is an indie rock quintet from Northhampton, England that rose out of obscurity with the release of their popular, indie chart-placing debut single "You Won't Stop" in 2007. Riding the wave of its breakout success, New Cassettes went on to support indie rock mega-band The Strokes during the Glastonbury Festival that same year. With aspirations for international success and a sound that fuses the best elements of indie rock into music that has critics and audiences raving, New Cassettes appears to have hit on a winning formula that may catapult the band to the lofty heights of some of its more renowned contemporaries.
