Native is a post-hardcore indie rock quartet from Northwestern Indiana that formed in 2007 as an evolutionary move away from the childhood bands the four friends left behind. Needless to say, the decision was a good one, as the one thing critics and fans of the band can agree upon is the maturity of Native's sound, despite the youthfulness of its members. Since the release of the band's debut full-length album Wrestling Moves in 2009, Native has been drawing comparisons to some of the more seminal acts of the post-hardcore genre, giving many potential fans something to look forward to at one of Native's live shows.
