Danish singer/songwriter Cecilie Enevold Nielsen (aka My Evil Twin) creates remarkably dynamic, lush pop music. She tours as a trio, with her two accompanying musicians helping her perform her homemade synth and drum machine confections in the live setting. At the outset, Nielsen may seem unwavering in her near-corny version of pop music, but each of her songs deal with complex, mature themes and her song structures deliver some fresh variations. My Evil Twin's debut record is titled The Slow Escape.
