Orlando-born and Los Angeles-based band Modern Day Escape is a hard rock act that formed in 2006 with several different lineups before collecting a final lineup in 2008. The band was on a US tour when it was prophetically stranded in California, where it prolonged its exposure by playing in iconic venues along Sunset Boulevard and releasing its album House of Rats, in 2009. Modern Day Escape dropped its second studio album Under the Gun, in 2012.
