Fort Worth, Texas group Mind Spiders is a lo-fi band nostalgic for both the 1960s garage rock and proto-punk of the Velvet Underground and punk pioneers such as Black Flag. Mind Spiders also uses vintage analog synthesizers to create a psychedelic element to its sound. The group's self-titled debut album was released in January of 2011.
