About
New York City's Michael Lowenstern is a famed bass clarinetist, both as teacher and performer. Lowenstern has performed with a variety of ensembles, including Steve Reich and the Musicians, the Robin Cox ensemble and John Zorn. Lowenstern also composes music for TV, radio and film, and even released a children's music album titled Ten Children on his own Earspasm Music label. When not performing, Lowenstern teaches bass clarinet at the Manhattan School of Music.
