Shawn James, popularly known for fronting the ensemble Shawn James & The Shapeshifters, has had a successful solo career as well. He began his musical journey as a part of his church choir. Before he was steadily gigging, James first worked as an audio engineer and then busked on the streets of Fayetteville for some time. He debuted with his solo album Shadows in 2012. Deliverance, On the Shoulders of Giants and The Dark & The Light are a few of his notable works.
