Mauro Henrique Sousa, born on November 10, 1983, in Brasília, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the Christian rock band Oficina G3 from 2008 to 2020, contributing to albums like Depois da Guerra and Histórias e Bicicletas. Prior to joining Oficina G3, Mauro was part of bands such as FullRange and Vértice. In 2013, he launched his Mauro Loop Sessions project, showcasing his ability to reimagine songs using loops, vocals, and guitar. After leaving Oficina G3 in 2020, Mauro pursued a solo career, culminating in the live DVD Forma recorded in 2023. Mauro has collaborated with various artists, including Scalene and Rosa de Saron. On a personal note, he dedicated the album Histórias e Bicicletas to his first wife, Jakylene Dantas, who passed away from cancer in 2012. He is now married to Carine Bastos.
