My Dad Wrote a Porno is a British podcast that was started in 2015 by Jamie Morton, James Cooper and Alice Levine. The idea for the podcast was conceived when Morton's father showed him the erotic novel Belinda Blinked that he'd been writing under the name Rocky Flintstone. Each 40-minute episode of the podcast is hosted by the Swedish company Acast which funds the production. The "Footnotes" episodes of each series, which invite distinguished people to discuss Belinda Blinked, have featured the likes of Elijah Wood, Michael Sheen, George Ezra, Nicholas Hoult, Emma Thompson, Mara Wilson, and more. My Dad Wrote a Porno's live show has toured across the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and North America, and performed at prestigious events such as the Edinburgh Fringe and Just For Laughs comedy festival. In 2019, HBO aired a comedy special based on the podcast's live tour.
