Musicians who truly expose themselves and write heartfelt tunes with disarmingly honest lyrics are often poked fun at for being overtly soft and sappy. Singer/songwriter, Josiah Mazzaschi, has undoubtedly ran into criticisms like these, but it hasn't stopped him from penning his characteristic songs with the Los Angeles-based alternative rock act, Light FM. Mazzaschi is the lead songwriter for the group and after the band released its debut LP, This is the Beginning of My Golden Age, he started to receive some recognition for being a tune-smith who's not afraid to write catchy pop rock songs with self-reflective lyrics.
