Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro is a Mexican rock band formed in Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl in 1989. Known for blending rock with punk, metal, ska, and electronic influences, the band consists of members who go by pseudonyms: Abulón, Ranas, Chipotle, and Tuco. Their music is characterized by energetic performances and theatrical elements, making them a key figure in the "Mexican shock rock" scene. The band gained popularity with their self-titled debut album Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro (1993) and hits like "El Esqueleto" and "La Tamalera." Over the years, they have released several albums, including Brujerías (1995), Tecnopal (1991), and Vienen las Brujas (2022). Their innovative approach has earned them a strong following in Mexico and beyond. Known for mixing humor, social commentary, and horror elements, the group remains active in the Latin rock scene.
