Indian comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath may have risen to fame via his collaboration with fellow comedian Kanan Gill on an internet series called Pretentious Movie Reviews, but he has stayed at the top of the comedy scene due to his quirky sense of humor. After an engineering degree from one of India's most prestigious institutions, Rath took up a corporate job and participated in open mic events during his free time. It was in 2014 that he progressed to being a full-time comedian and within a year, he was already touring the country with his debut solo show Biswa In Your Face. He has come a long way since then. Apart from playing prominent Indian stages, Rath has also toured abroad. Biswa Mast Aadmi and Sushi are two of his popular stand-up specials. Biswa Kalyan Rath is also an accomplished writer. He created and wrote the award-winning web series titled Lakhon Mein Ek. The versatile artist has also worn the badge of an actor with a minor role in a Bollywood movie and has featured in several shows as himself in different capacities.
