K-Salaam is a New York-based DJ and hip-hop producer. Producing alongside Beatnik, the two have created material for artists like Lil Wayne, Talib Kweli, 50 Cent and Trey Songz. K-Saalam & Beatnik's production style has a distinct flavor of throwback hip-hop, jazz, funk, and soul samples. In addition to producing material for such well-known artists, K-Salaam & Beatnik also release a "K-Salaam & Beatnik Presents" series that often remixes popular songs from folks like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Kirk Cobain.
