Judgement Day

Oakland "string metal" band Judgement Day incorporates string instruments like violin and cello into an epic concoction of heavy metal. Started by brothers Anton and Lewis Patzner, the latter of which completed conservatory training in Baltimore. Anton has played with Bright Eyes' touring band after being discovered by the band Cursive as Anton was playing outside of one of their shows. The group has also made a name for itself with the YouTube music video for the song "Cobra Strike," where the band imagine what it would be like if there were a Violin Hero game to accompany Guitar Hero.
