Virginia-based singer-songwriter Jonathan Edwards has been a longtime presence in the folk Americana community. Since the 60s Edwards has been releasing folk and bluegrass music, opening for groups like the Allman Brothers and B.B. King. Edwards' 1971 self-titled album is considered to be a classic of his, and documentary of Edwards' life called That's What Our Life Is was released in 2008.
