In-Flight Safety is an indie rock band from Nova Scotia, Canada that was inspired to go professional by a short email from David Bowie, praising the band's basement-produced debut EP, Vacation Land, which was released in 2004. Since then, In-Flight Safety has become a popular Canadian indie rock sensation, taking home numerous awards at Canada's prestigious East Coast Music Awards in 2007 for the band's first full-length album release, Coast is Clear. With a proven formula for crafting rock music with both critical and popular appeal, the members of In-Flight Safety are now more ready than ever to share their talents on the international stage.
