About
Dublin-based post rock band Halves is comprised of four multi-instrumentalists who recorded their 2010 debut, It Goes, It Goes (Forever and Ever), in Montreal with Efrim Menuck of Godspeed You Black Emporer, one of the bands that helped found the post rock genre. Because of the release and its growing success Halves were able to hire a string section to perform live and provide a full orchestrated sound to the quartet's already powerful instrumentals.
