Helmed by New Zealand singer/songwriter Neil Finn, the pop-rock outfit Crowded House managed to leave its imprint on the mainstream '80s music scene with cracker hits like "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong." Formed in Melbourne in 1985, the group crafted well orchestrated pop tunes that went over well with audiences around the world. The group has experienced ups and downs since its inceptions, even breaking up in 1996, only to return to the stage in 2006, but Crowded House continues to tour and bring its characteristic form of music to audiences around the globe.
