Ghost Animal is a Los Angeles-based boy/girl twosome that plays deliciously lo-fi garage pop. The band weaves deliriously fuzzed-out guitars and too-cool-to-care monotone vocals into a noisy tapestry that does its best to nearly obscure the duo's deft and surprisingly poppy songwriting chops. The songs themselves, largely stripped down surf-pop, evoke a hazy, half-remembered nostalgia.
