In its recordings the Mexican group Furland presents a psychedelic rock sound, but live the band bares it down and sounds more like a straight folk rock ensemble. All six members are led by singer and guitarist Sergio and the group recorded its 2009 debut History of Light with the help of members of the famous rock en Espanol band Cafe Tacuba. Sometimes Furland will play completely acoustic with a small horn section.
