Ronald Oneil Spence Jr., professionally known as Ronny J, is an American record producer, rapper, and songwriter, born in New Jersey. He started playing drums at a young age, which sparked his interest in music. After studying at Rowan College, Ronny moved to Miami, where he became part of Denzel Curry's C9 and Raider Klan groups. Known for his signature bass-heavy, distorted beats, he has produced for major artists like Kanye West, Eminem, Lil Pump, XXXTentacion, and Machine Gun Kelly. In 2017, he signed with Atlantic Records, releasing his mixtape OMGRonny (2018) and his debut album Jupiter (2020). His second album, Charged Up (2023), features the posthumous XXXTentacion collaboration "Emoji." Ronny J is a prominent figure in trap and hip hop production, continuously shaping the sound of mainstream rap music.
