Frankie and the Heartstrings

Frankie and the Heartstrings was formed one night when four of the five members were at college in northeast England. One of the members, Frankie Francis, had a thing for playing bass at the time, but the other members were frustrated by his lack of ability. In order to get him to get off the bass they convinced him to be the lead singer and from that point on the music clicked. A little while later they would recruit a keyboardist and go into the studio in 2010 to record its debut Hunger that is full of modern romantic indie rock and swagger.
