Degerfors IF is a football club formed in 1907 and based in Degerfors, Sweden. The club debuted in the Allsvenskan league in 1939 and held on to this position till 1966. Today, the club is one of the competitors in the Superettan, which is the second-tier competition in the world of Swedish football. Winning the Division 1 Norra and Svenska Cupen are some of the club's major achievements. The significant contributors to the club’s success have been its skilled players like Jan Aronsson, Ulf Ottosson, Olle Åhlund and many more. The club holds its home games at the Stora Valla stadium.
