Echoes is an instrumental progressive rock band from Caracas, Venezuela that formed in 2004. After winning at Caracas' prestigious "Alma Mater" Rock Festival in 2005 (the first instrumental rock band to do so), Echoes' bright future in the music business was ensured. The band's music combines traditional folk music, prog rock and an adventurous use of traditional Venezuelan instruments. The members of Echoes know what it takes to entertain audiences with songs ranging from experimental post-rock/metal instrumentals to more radio-friendly fare. Echoes does not compromise their sound in either situation, always maintaining high quality music.
