Ahlam bint Ali bin Hazeem Al Shamsi, born February 13, 1968, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is a renowned Emirati singer and actress celebrated for her influential presence in Arabic music. Known mononymously as Ahlam, she has released 14 albums and numerous singles, cementing her status as a leading figure in the Arab music scene. Ahlam gained widespread recognition through her role as a judge on MBC's Arab Idol from 2011 to 2014 and again in 2017, and as a coach on The Voice: Ahla Sawt in 2018. She has performed at major international festivals, including UNESCO and the Dolby Theatre. Despite facing controversy, including a widely criticized TV show in 2016, Ahlam remains a significant cultural icon. Her personal life includes marriage to Qatari rally champion Mubarak Al-Hajiri and three children.
