Dinosaur Bones

Dinosaur Bones is the brainchild of Toronto-based songwriter, Ben Fox, who pieced the band together after moving from Montreal. The guitarist/vocalist's songs are rooted in indie pop, but also seem to borrow heavily from popular guitar-driven American indie rock bands, such as Spoon, the Walkmen and the Strokes. Angular guitar lines and synthesizers weave around steady rhythms and clever vocal hooks in Fox's music, which has been embraced by many of his contemporaries in the Canadian rock scene. Dinosaur Bones released its debut LP, My Divider, in 2011.
