Depedro

Depedro is the working name of Spanish folk musician, Jairo Zavala. The Madrid native guitarist and singer is a workaholic, known to tour on his own or while accompanying fellow musicians for a year or two with no breaks. As a result, his songs reflect his well-traveled nature, incorporating folk, rock, flamenco and Mediterranean influences into his music. Before his eponymous solo debut LP was released in 2008, Zavala served as more of a background musician, working with notable bands and artists, including Andrew Bird and Calexico.
