DATAROCK is a Norwegian electro rock outfit that was founded in 2000 by Fredrik Saroea and Ketil Mosnes. Originally planned to work as a four-piece, the group has now been pared down to just the two members. The duo creates modern dance punk songs and the band's breakout 2005 LP, Datarock Datarock, is full of tight, double-time disco beats, crunchy electric guitars and self-consciously nerdy lyrical themes.
