Olympia, Washington's Christian Mistress is a metal band in the business of recreating metal's golden age sound rather than pushing into all the obscure categories into which the genre has broken. Lead vocalist Christine Davis' voice is a major element of the band's music, as she conjures everyone from Stevie Nicks to Motorhead's Lemmy. The band's first album is titled Agony & Opium.
