Mexico City band Chikita Violenta is an indie rock band of the purest kind. The band's lo-fi guitar aesthetic is matched by equally abrasive and raw drums. This is all contrasted by the group's interest in psychedelic rock, pop vocal melodies and sing-a-long hooks. The band's album TRE3S came out in January 2011.
