Resembling a younger version of the Dixie Chicks with slightly less twang, one wouldn't expect Baskery to be from Sweden. The trio of sisters that make up the group were raised in Stockholm and played in a band with their father before branching out on their own in 2008. Blending alternative country, Southern rock and soft folk, Baskery is at home in the American South and have fittingly been welcomed there with open arms.
