Rose Nascimento

Rose Nascimento, born on September 15, 1966, in Rio de Janeiro, is a Brazilian pastor and one of the most prominent voices in contemporary Christian music. As a key figure in the Pentecostal movement, she has sold over 9 million records across Brazil. Coming from a musically gifted family, Rose started her career as a backing vocalist before releasing her debut album Livre in 1990. Over the years, she gained recognition for albums like Começo, Meio e Fim and Uma Questão de Fé. She co-founded the Evangelical Church of God of the Impossible (IEDI) with her husband, Pastor João Azeredo. In addition to her music, Rose published an autobiography, Páginas da Vida, in 2018. Her discography includes over 20 albums, and she remains a significant figure in Brazilian Christian music.
