In order to expose audiences to music and cultures they haven't come in contact with before, Bombes 2 Bal (B2B) incorporates a diverse range of world music into its writing style. For over ten years, the six musicians and two dancers of B2B have led crowds in traditional dances, enthralling them with cultures they were once unfamiliar with. The band's name is a combination of two popular French expressions that, together, translate to "things are great," and it is with this kind of carefree attitude that the group released its debut Dance with your Grandmother in 2004.
