Morad El Khattouti El Horami, born on March 5, 1999, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, is a Spanish rapper of Moroccan descent. Known simply as Morad, he began his career in 2018 and gained fame with his 2019 debut album M.D.L.R, inspired by the French acronym "Mec de la Rue" (street boy). He rose to prominence with collaborations like Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 47 and the hit single "Pelele" in 2022, both topping the PROMUSICAE charts. His music reflects his rough upbringing and street experiences, particularly highlighting police abuse and social struggles. Despite legal issues, Morad continues to be a major figure in the Spanish drill scene, and his fashion sense—particularly his love for tracksuits—has also made waves. He has collaborated with brands like Adidas and continues to influence the Spanish urban music scene.
