Vince Thompson is a country artist from Connecticut who remains independent from any label. His inspirations range from the Bakersfield sound to the heartfelt lyrics written in the late 1940s by classic Southern country musicians. Along with layerings of jazz, rock & roll and swing he creates a clean sound that uniquely his own. Vince brings life to his songs by singing in a rich baritone voice and in one tune tells the story of a man from California who leaves home to become an officer on a ship travelling the world. Vince includes cover songs from other artists in his performance repertoire. Along with his talented band of New Englanders, Vince crafts music the common man can enjoy.
