Aggiungi Un Posto A Tavola (translated into English as Add a Place at the Table) is a musical comedy by famed Italian playwright duo Garinei and Giovannini. The story follows a pastor from an imaginary mountain village who, like Noah from the Bible, receives word from God that a second flood is coming and promptly begins construction on an ark to save the people and animals of the country. The play is considered to be one of Italy's most celebrated contributions to contemporary stage musical comedy, with over five revivals of the musical performed since it premiered in 1974.
