Turbo Fruits

Formed by Jonas Stein after his garage punk band Be Your Own Pet broke up in 2008, Turbo Fruits is a four-piece based out of Nashville. Maintaining the raucous energy of his former band, but including more doo wop, Southern blues and 1960s R&B influences, Stein insists that Turbo Fruits has a more mature sound than Be Your Own Pet. The sound may be more mature, but the band still tends to stick to the topics of marijuana, women and general debauchery, proving that Stein still doesn't take himself too seriously.
