About
Austin, Texas band Electric Touch is led by British ex-pat Shane Lawlor and as a result, considers itself a British-American rock band. Indeed, Brit-pop is certainly a big influence in Electric Touch's music, particularly in Lawlor's peppy optimism. Electric Touch also utilizes harder rock guitar styles reminiscent of 1970s rock to combine with its power-pop vocals and subject matter. The group's self-titled debut was released in the summer of 2008.
