One of Wuppertal funniest residents, Jan Philipp Zymny shot to fame after winning the 2013 Meisterschaften im Poetry Slam. He then tried his hand at stand up comedy and was an instant success. His shows, Bärenkatapult and Kinder der Weirdness propelled him further into stardom and earned him touring rights of the German-speaking world.
