Babet

Elisabeth Maistre (who performs under the Babet moniker) is a multi-instrumentalist and singer in the avant-garde French band Dionysos. She began releasing solo records in 2007 with the LP Strange Bird on which she will sometimes flip-flops between singing in both French and English. Because of her background as a classically trained musician, Babet is able to bring full string orchestrations into her pop songs.
