Kids of 88 is a New Zealand psychedelic new wave group comprised of two musicians who've been friends since they were both formative youths. The bond the duo forged when they were adolescents is clearly evident in the group's music and especially blatant when the the band plays live. The duo makes a characteristic style of electronic music that couples boisterous house beats with analogue synth quirks; and even though its notoriety hasn't really caught on with a large fan base, with more time spent in the studio and on the stage, Kids of 88 will no doubt create electropop-esque music that's constantly on repeat in night clubs throughout the world.
