Los Angeles based folk singer Haroula Rose writes all of her own music, playing guitar on many of her songs. Rose writes the kind of vulnerable acoustic guitar music that comes straight from the heart and speaks to subjects like love and breakups. Rose even has a song on her 2011 album These Open Roads titled "Another Breakup Ballad," a refreshing sense of humor that isn't always present in sunny California folk music. Rose has also released the albums Christmas for Cowboys and Someday.
