KANKA

About

Kanka is a DJ who combines drum and bass electronic music with dub reggae. He is originally from North Carolina, but has lived in Europe ever since his 2005 debut Don't Stop The Dub was released. Kanka plays and programs all the instruments heard on his albums and when playing live, he's often accompanied by a bass player, MC and singer. During his bass-heavy sets he's constantly twiddling knobs on his drum machines, effects units and mixing board so he can modulate his snare hits with variable delays.
