About

ACKBOO is a French electronic dub DJ. He tours around Europe playing raves and parties with his homemade speaker array shaped like a temple. Combining his digital collection of records with analog delays and effects, ACKBOO does everything one would expect from a dub artist. He collapses mixes into phaser sounds and lets hi-hats get washed away in reverb until just the right moment for the bass line to come in. In addition to mixing his purely instrumental work, ACKBOO often accompanies live reggae singers like Zion and Steve Steppa, adjusting his music to the lyricist's themes.
