Rafael Bueno

Born and raised in Barcelona, Rafael Bueno provided his voice for background work for various artists in the city's prominent flamenco culture, before creating a name for himself as a solo singer. In 2008, after a decade of putting his time in, Bueno released a solo vocal album under the pseudonym El Tarumba that fused classic flamenco with rumba and pop. The album boasted instrumental backing by members of flamenco favorite El Barrio, and thus garnered Bueno respect from his native city's music scene. A seasoned veteran of performing live, Bueno often is featured in Barcelona's Flamenco Festival and can be found singing at venues year-round.
