D'callaos

D'callaos is an acoustic-based pop outfit from Spain. In a live setting, as many as eight members take the stage, tastefully adding drums, guitars, hand percussion and electric bass to the song arrangements. Most of the group's material centers around lead singer Queralt Escude Lopez's strong, assertive pop vocals, and the flamenco-influenced acoustic guitar work of her band mates. D'callaos has dubbed its blend of the old and the new as "Nu-Flamenco," and continues to try to reach bigger audiences around Spain.
