Seafarer is a four-piece rock band from Chicago that formed in 2009 and released its debut LP Hiding Places on January 18th, 2011. The group is often cited as being humble and embracing of its influences like the Arctic Monkeys and Wilco. Lead singer Patrick Grzelewski often writes lyrics about life from a Midwesterner's standpoint and delivers his vocals somewhere in between yelling and talking.
