Sotiria Schenk, better known as just Sotiria, is a German singer. She began her musical training at the age of eight and sang the title song "Mädchen müssen härter sein" of the film Mädchen, Mädchen under the name Ria Schenk. By the time she was in her mid-twenties, Sotiria had released two commercially successful albums with the band Eisblume - which she founded. After the band parted ways in 2013, she began to focus more on her solo career and collaborated with singer Der Graf. Her debut solo album Hallo Leben was released in October 2018 and peaked at number 6 on German charts.
