When you think about rock and funk music, acoustic guitars don't automatically spring to mind. But for Polaris Condition, the two aren't mutually exclusive. The London four-piece creates lively acoustic rock and attempts to inject it with the choppy strumming patterns and syncopated drumming found in funk. The results are a little loose and rough around the edges (which is to be expected for a relatively new band), but the band's sound should be found appealing to fans of female-fronted rock groups with heavy 90s alt-rock influences.
